What a fabulous story! It was a pleasure to work with you and Becky. I loved seeing and hearing the excitment coming from all the library visitors that day. Becky looked like a star, with her glittery mane. She was so patient with each and every person who came to meet her. I have my own picture (taken by Vanessa Wright of The Literary Horse) with Becky that brings a smile to my face each time I look at it. Thank you Miranda and Becky!

Great story! We loved having Becky visit the Library. She was so well-behaved and comfortable with all the people, even riding on the elevator. I really loved your story of meeting Misty of Chincoteague in the Elgin (IL) Library. Russ

I know I would be every bit appreciative of the Willa today as I was the Willa of days gone by. I’ll never forget, Miranda, our trail ride. I was on an off the track school horse prospect. When you first suggested we go, I had visions of carnage. True to form Willa provided the calming influence needed for my green horse (and myself) to make it without incindent. We were even able to cross Hwy 176 to go to Scooters! (We must have tied the horses to something. Did they have a hitching post?) We ate giant omlettes and drank Kona coffee. So Miranda tell Willa from me, “Thanks for the memories!”

Awww. Loved it. I can remember trying to get her on the van at Lamplight and waiting, and waiting and cursing. She is herself, uncompromising, determined, definitive, often unyielding but ultimately accepting, if not forgiving.
